Who We Are
We exist to increase profitability and convenience of commercial beef operations by providing data driven breeding strategies and services.

Our Story
Repro Australia was established with one goal - To increase the profitability of commercial beef operations by integrating Fixed Time Artificial Insemination (FTAI). Our team combines decades of industry experience with youth, enthusiasm & a data driven approach to provide better outcomes to our clients.
Formerly known as Beef Genetics, the business was founded by Damien and Kristina Sotter in 2003, drawing from hands-on industry experience dating back to 1989. Over that time, the team has developed a reputation for practical, results-driven AI programs — helping producers across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria, and Tasmania lift conception rates and improve herd profitability season after season.
In 2025, Maxim Sotter acquired the business and relaunched it as Repro Australia — a name that reflects a broader national ambition: to make high-performing AI programs the norm on commercial beef operations, not the exception. Maxim’s vision is bound by a deep inter-generational connection to the land and a commitment to the Australian Agricultural industry.
Maxim & his team are governed by their strong company values of effort, communication, trust and thick skin. Their commitment to constant improvement and relentless effort is underpinned by a strong morale compass and a dedication to a results driven approach. The team incentivises, recognises and rewards results for both employees and clients alike.
What We Stand For
Trust is the irreplaceable foundation of all meaningful relationships, teamwork and success. Everything we do is built on this foundational principle.
Good breeding objectives fall apart without clear communication between producer and technician. We keep you informed at every step — before, during, and after.
Reproductive performance doesn't improve by accident. We put in the work at every step, every program and every follow-up — because the details matter.
Agriculture is tough, and we don't shy away from hard seasons or difficult conversations. We're here for the long haul — when conditions are easy and when they're not.
